New HESS e-buses of the type lighTram® 25 DC increase the transport capacity of the public transport in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.
The HESS vehicles ordered by BERNMOBIL are almost 25m long and offer a generous number of seating and standing places. The innovative electrical drive concept of HESS contains, amongst others, energy storage systems partially allowing the electrically powered driving without overhead line.
