HESS has recently delivered a de-icing vehicle to STAN (Service de transport de l’agglomération nancéienne). The specialised vehicle will be used to de-ice the trolleybus overhead lines, ensuring safe and reliable operations throughout the winter season.
As part of the handover, the HESS team conducted comprehensive training for all future users, ensuring that the vehicle can be operated safely, efficiently, and reliably in daily use.
Since spring 2024, the city of Nancy has been operating lighTram® 25 DC trolleybuses from HESS. With the addition of the new de-icing vehicle, STAN further strengthens its modern and sustainable transport infrastructure.
