The 2022 regional championship for vehicle mechanics took place last Saturday at the Mobilcity in Bern and was won by Nils Kocher, an apprentice at HESS.
With his victory, Nils qualified directly for the Swiss vehicle mechanics championship. The SwissSkills will take place from 7 to 11 September 2022 in Berne. Two more apprentices at HESS also successfully competed in the regional championship - Jens Grünig (4th place) and Aron Jakob (7th place). Jens’s result also enabled him to qualify for the 2022 Swiss championship.
